6 Steps to Remove Kitchen Faucet

Step 1:
First, you need to turn off the water. Most of the valve is installed under the sink. If you look carefully then you will see there are two valves which control hot water and cold water line.
Now find out the actual point that is connected with the supply tubes to the supply line and these lines are connected to the faucet If you are shutting off this valve after a long time, then you may face some serious problem.
Most of the time the valves become frozen. In spite of using other tools like plus or pliers or wrench proved worthy to turn off the valves. There is another option to solve this problem.

Take pliers or a wrench and hold it for off the Turing and unscrew the supply tube line successfully. One more thing you need to keep it in mind that, maybe you need to remove this faucet after a long time.
So as a precaution you can replace the supply tube if you think that it will arise some problem in future while removing it.
Step 4:
In every Faucet, there are some faucet mounting which is basically used for securing the faucet to the sink. This mounting nut you will find just under the sink. Maybe the tailpieces are attached which some threaded tape.
But one mounting nut is available able for every faucet. But in some faucet, there are two mounting nuts are installed according to its design. Most of the people set their faucet and sink in that style where the mounting nut is not visible at first seem.
So mounting nut may be cramped in some consisting place like between the wall and the sink. If you are still not able to unmount the nut, then take some penetrating oil. It helps you to turn it easily after a time.

Step 5:
You have done most of the job. After unmounts the nut the whole faucet will come out. You just need to pull it out gently. If the faucet is not moving the give some force. May it sealed for a while.
Step 6:
Maybe there is some mess around your sink. Try to clean the surface, especially the surface of the sink. There are some spot is you will find where the faucet sat.
There are also some putty or chuck need to clean. In this cleaning process, you can use some liquid like non-scratching scouring pad and vinegar.
